The lasting effects of hurricane Sandy are more than just the physical damage it caused – the economic hardship it created for so many northeasterners. In the case of the beachside fun park, Bayview Fun Park, they lost their bumper boat attraction. Though the buildings and structures were covered, the in-ground pool was not. The damage from the storm was so extensive that the pool could not be recovered without a massive cash outlay – something a recovering business could not put out. Harry Trefes called us and asked, is it possible to use one of our pools instead. And we said “Absolutely!” We were so excited about being a part of a Sandy recovery story that we made him a great deal and they got their number one attraction back up and running in now time.
